I haven’t been to a certain store in a few years so I purposely went there today to buy jeans. I picked several pairs to try on and proceeded to the nearest dressing room. I found the most depressing place I could have imagined. I actually think the pictures look better than real life.

You actually get a customer in the door…

actually interested enough to invest time trying something on…

you’re almost to a transaction…

you just have to close the sale…

they are looking for affirmation they look good!

Did someone really believe this was the right context to place this customer?

Or, can they simply not see it anymore?

It so hard to see your own shortcomings but so easy to see them in others.

Right now people are scratching their heads about your company. Can you see it?

Full disclosure – I bought two pairs of jeans but I find little reason to go back unless I decide to return after seeing them in better light.
